Chennai
Day 1: We are ready to propose directly to Mahabalipuram but you will feel little tired. After a small refreshment we visit crocodile park. Night stay at Mahabalipuram.
Mahabalipuram
Day 2: Mahabalipuram an ancient sea-town at the coromandal coast built by the Pallava rulers by 13th century A.D. There are so many things at Mahabalipuram for a tourist to enjoy. Monolithic sculptures,the sea-shore temple, the ‘Pancha Pandava Rathas’ and more to see there. Night stay at Mahabalipuram.
Pondicherry
Day 3,4: Arriving Pondicherry. After a small refreshment visiting Auroville, Promenade at Pondicherry, night stay. At morning , visiting the market, the Ashram and the Temple. Night stay at Pondicherry.
Thanjavur
Day 5 : Start to Tanjore. Visiting the mangrove forest and the temples.Visiting the bronze statue making industry. Night stay at Tanjore
Madurai
Day 6,7: The journey starts to Madurai, cultural capital of the Tamils. The Tirumalai Nayak Mahal,a palace built in 1636 and the Meenakshi Sundareshvara temple. We can feel a Divine vibration at the sanctum. The temple is dedicated to Lord Siva and Meenakshi. The golden lotus in the tank, the long corridor, the fine sculptures, the thousand pillared hall and whatever thing in the temple gives us a mystic experience. City visit. Night stay at Madurai. Next day morning visiting the temple,visiting the palace at Madurai , flower market, the museum. Night stay in Madurai.
Thekady
Day 8: Visiting the Periyar national park, spices and tea plantations which is naturally superb. Boat ride through the forest and having a look towards forest animals and the plantations. Night stay at the forest.
Munnar
Day 9: Visiting the tea gardens, forest goats, tea factory, and night stay at the hotel for 1 to 2 nights.
Kodaikanal
Day 10: start to Kodaikanal, having a nice natural view from the hilltop, and visiting a chocolate factory. Beware of altitude: 2000m. Night stay at Kodaikanal.
Trichy
Day 11: Visitng sri rangam temple dedicated to Lord vishnu. The temple have a seven storey tower. It is believed to built in 13th century A.D. the gigantic statue of Sri Ranganathasvami lying down on a lengthy snake called Athiseshan is a nice sculpture to see. Visiting Rock Fort temple and a little visit through the city. Night stay at Trichy.
Pondicherry or Chennai
Day 12: Departure to Chennai airport.
